The Pacers took game 1 with a 98-80 win over the Cavaliers.
Indiana came out on fire, and the Cavs did not. The Pacers outscored the Cavs 33 to 14 in the first quarter and only allowed the Cavs to score 15 in the fourth. Victor Oladipo led the charge for the Pacers with 32 points.
The Cavaliers lack of offense played a huge role in their loss. They only had three players in double digits with Lebron James leading with 24 points.
Lebron James has never been put out of the playoffs in the first round, but with a couple more performances like today, the Cavaliers could soon find themselves in that very position if the Pacers can come out with this same intensity throughout this entire series. This series could be better than many expected.
