Dwayne Wade Turned Back the Clock against 76ers in Game 2

The Miami Heat knew they had to rely on their team’s experience during this series and boy did an experienced player show up. Dwayne Wade turned back the clock in game 2 against the 76ers. He scored 21 points in the first half and single-handed seal the game up with his defensive and offensive efforts late in the fourth quarter.

The 76ers did not lose this game because of a lack of effort as they keep the tempo of the game high and in their favor. In fact, their young leader, Ben Simmons, had a similar stat line to the one he had in game 1. This game simply came down to the Heat wanting it more.

Game 2 is typically very difficult for a team that won game 1 in such a dominant fashion like the 76ers. Their lack of playoff experience disabled them to come out with the same passion they did in game 1 at pivotal moments.

The Heat will try to continue their success in the series as things head to South Beach for Game 3 on Thursday night.
