The Atlanta Falcons selected cornerback A.J. Terrell with the 16th pick of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Terrell played with the Clemson Tigers for three years and finished his collegiate career with 107 tackles, 20 pass breakups, six interceptions and two forced fumbles. He also helped Clemson to a 29-1 record as a starter, including the 2019 College Football National Championship.
After being selected by the Falcons, Terrell will begin his professional career in his hometown, as he played high school at Westlake High School in Atlanta.
Terrell’s NFL combine results include running a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash, 15 bench press reps, a 34.5 inch vertical jump and a 129 inch broad jump.
