Titans Versus Panthers Sneak Peek

Jurell Casey the anchor of the Titans Defensive Line is out vs Panthers

At the halfway point of the season, the Titans head into the match-up at 4-4 while the Panthers sit at 4-3. The Panthers have had their bye week and enter the game coming off of a 51-13 loss at San Francisco. Meanwhile, the Titans have a two-game win streak that evened their season record.

Ryan Tannehill will be making his 3rd consecutive start for the Titans. Kyle Allen will once again be starting in place of the injured Cam Newton. A keynote for the Titans is they finally get their regular kicker Ryan Succop back from injury. The kicking game has cost the Titans early in the season.

*Notable injuries besides Newton.

Panthers: WR Curtis Samuel is questionable, and sack leader Mario Addison is out for personal reasons.

Titans: Starters C Ben Jones, DL Jurrell Casey, and TE Delanie Walker are all out.

The key for the Titans is containing Christian McCaffrey. In 7 games he has 735 yards on the ground for 8 TDs. In addition, he has 39 catches for 343 yards and two additional scores.

To say that this game is not critical for the Titans is an understatement. If they have any hope of getting back into the division race, a win is of the utmost importance.
