SEC Player of the Week – Missouri’s Kassius Robertson, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound senior guard from Toronto, Ontario, averaged 24.5 points, 4.5rebounds and 2.5 assists in wins at Ole Miss and over Mississippi State. Helped secure the Tigers’ first-ever four-game SEC winning streak, with a season-high 27 points at Ole Miss and 22 points in the overtime victory over Mississippi State. Led Mizzou in scoring by way of his outside shooting prowess, hitting five three-pointers in both wins. His efforts against the Rebels and Bulldogs were his sixth and seventh 20-point games in conference play, bringing his total to 10 for the overall season. Dished out multiple assists in both games, running his streak to seven-straight games with at least two dimes.

 

SEC Freshman of the Week – Texas A&M’s TJ Starks, a 6-foot-2, 196-pound guard from Dallas, Texas, averaged 20 points, three assists and 1.5 steals in wins at No. 8 Auburn and against No. 24 Kentucky. During the two wins, he shot 48.3 percent from the floor and 55.6 percent from 3-point range. Starks tied his career-high with 16 points in the opening period before finishing with a personal-best 23 on 8-of-12 shooting (4-of-5 from 3-point range) in the win at Auburn. Returning to the court against the Wildcats, Starks again paced the Aggies in scoring, finishing with 17 points.
