The Atlanta Falcons are bringing excitement during the preseason as they are dynamic through all four quarters. No matter who is in the game, the Falcons are creating plays with fresh new talent.
Atlanta’s first round draft prospect, Bijan Robinson had his first run as a NFL player, which led to a 12 yard carry. Kyle Pitts had a beautiful one handed catch from Desmond Ridder. This is an exciting way to make your presence known back in the league as Pitts had an injury last November against the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, second year Wide Receiver Drake London, had an elegant back shoulder catch. Needless to say this offense will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat.
Ryan Neilsen’s defense is not too far from shy of making their presence known as well. Nielsen’s defense kept the pressure on and maintained the aggression throughout the game. A notable player who assisted with this notion is Demarcco Hellams. Hellams picked off Cincinnati Bengals’ Jake Browning in the second quarter. Hellams not only had an interception this game but had five tackles as well. Another player who seems to be fitting right in with his old coordinator is Kaden Eliss, who was seen on Nielsen’s defense last season with the New Orleans Saints. Eliss had two solo and two assist tackles.
It may just be the preseason but this team has a lot of upside to them. The Atlanta Falcons showed they had depth in several positions. If this team can put it all together at the right time and remain healthy, they could be a problem for many teams this season.
