Georgia Tech Swimming & Diving Announces 2017-18 Schedule

Georgia Tech swimming & diving will host a total of five home meets, including the annual Georgia Tech Invitational, but will hit the road for meets at Notre Dame, Northwestern, South Carolina and Georgia to highlight the 2017-18 schedule.

“We are looking forward to our challenging schedule this season,” stated head coach Courtney Shealy Hart. “We are excited about hosting a number of meets, but also really looking forward to another great Georgia Tech Invitational with a lot of nationally ranked programs coming to McAuley. However, we have really decided to challenge ourselves this year on the road with meets at a number of Power 5 and nationally recognized programs.”

The Yellow Jackets home slate is headlined by the Georgia Tech Invitational on Nov. 16-18. Tech will also host Pittsburgh (Oct. 6), Delta State (Oct. 28), Emory (Jan. 27), and the GT NCAA Qualifier (Mar. 4). Tech’s road contests include dual meets at Notre Dame (Oct. 20), Northwestern (Oct. 21), Georgia (Nov. 8), SCAD (Jan. 6) and South Carolina (Jan. 20). On top of a neutral site meet with Florida Atlantic (Dec. 20) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the 2018 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships will take place in Greensboro, N.C. with the women’s championship meet taking place on Feb. 14-17 and the men’s on Feb. 21-24.

The NCAA Zone B Diving Championships are set for Mar. 5-7 in Knoxville, Tenn., while the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships will be held at two different locations this year. The women’s championships will take place in Columbus, Ohio on Mar. 14-17, while the men’s championship meet will follow on Mar. 21-24 in Minneapolis, Minn. Outside of in season team competition, the Yellow Jackets will compete in the USA Winter Nationals in Columbus, Ohio on Nov. 29-Dec. 2 and will also host the Arena Pro Series meet on Mar. 1-3 at McAuley.

The Yellow Jackets will open up the season with the annual White vs. Gold intrasquad meet on Sept. 29-30.
